A risk refers to a situation involving exposure to danger. We will look at gender roles and behaviors that put us at risk for unintended pregnancy and STIs/HIV.
Have you heard about sexual Network?
If your partner has multiple sexual partners, you can still get STI or HIV even if you only have sex with him/her. If we don’t use a condom, we are indirectly also having sex with everyone else our partner had sex with.
No condom, no love!
Not using condoms every time you have sex, having more than one sexual partner, and having a sexual partner who has more than one sexual partner at a time are the three main things that cause HIV to spread in Namibia.
Even when you are being faithful, make sure you are protected by using condoms every time. Remember that this role play is just to demonstrate how sexual networks connect and does not reflect anyone’s status!
Risky attitudes and behaviors:
An attitude is a firm way of thinking or feeling which is often reflected (or shown) in a person’s behavior.
